Our Philosophy
Natural or lab-grown, we believe there is no right or wrong choice, only the right choice for you.
As a traditional jewellery house, our background is based in natural diamonds. As lab-grown diamonds evolved in quality and accessibility, we embraced them too, giving our clients the freedom to choose the option that best suits their needs.
Our role is to help you understand the differences, so you can make an informed decision with complete confidence.
We take the time to explore what matters most to you, whether that's origin, budget, design, long-term value, symbolism, or simply how a piece makes you feel when you wear it. By understanding your priorities, we can guide you towards the diamond that best aligns with your ideal outcome.
Lab Diamond vs Natural Diamond
A considered choice, guided by you
The most important thing to understand is they are visually identical, if they share the same cut quality, proportions, colour, and clarity they are the same optically. The finished diamond is the same.
The key difference is its origin.
Both are 100% carbon that began as a rough crystal before being expertly cut and polished into a diamond. One is formed naturally within the earth over billions of years, while the other is created using advanced technology that replicates the same conditions in a laboratory.
Rather than defining one as better than the other, we see them as two distinct paths, each appealing for different reasons. The right choice is the one that aligns with your values, your budget, your style, and the story you want your jewellery to tell.
Our role is to educate and guide you through both options, giving you the confidence to choose the diamond that is right for you.

What is the difference?
Natural diamonds are formed beneath the earth’s surface under immense heat and pressure over billions of years. Each stone is a rare product of nature, carrying a unique geological journey that cannot be replicated.
Lab grown diamonds, are created using cutting-edge technology that replicates these natural conditions. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds—indistinguishable to the naked eye and even under most gemological testing.
-
Design without limits
One of the most exciting shifts within our industry has been the creative freedom that lab grown diamonds have introduced.
Designs that were once considered too ambitious or cost-prohibitive—full diamond bands, bold tennis necklaces, statement pieces—can now be explored with confidence. Clients are increasingly embracing lab grown diamonds in fashion jewellery, where scale and design take centre stage.
This has opened the door to a new level of creativity, allowing us to design pieces that are expressive, personal, and often more daring.

Different choices for different pieces
Many of our clients find themselves drawn to both.
It is not uncommon to choose lab grown diamonds for everyday luxury—tennis bracelets, earrings, or travel pieces—where versatility and value are key.
At the same time, some feel a strong connection to natural diamonds for engagement rings and bridal jewellery, where tradition, symbolism, and longevity carry deeper meaning.
There is no need to choose one over the other entirely. Your jewellery collection can evolve with you.
