HELPFUL TIPS
-
Choose the Right Time of Day
Measure your finger at the end of the day when it is likely to be at its largest. Fingers tend to swell throughout the day, and it's best to measure when your hands are warm and relaxed.
-
Consider the Temperature
Avoid measuring your finger when it’s too cold or too hot, as temperature can affect finger size. Cold can make fingers smaller, while heat can cause them to swell.
-
Use the Correct Finger
Make sure you measure the finger on which the ring will be worn. The dominant hand can be slightly larger than the non-dominant hand.
-
Width of the band
When choosing the ring size, it's important to consider the width of the band. Fine bands generally fit true to size, while wider bands (3mm or more) require additional room and may feel tighter on the finger. For wider styles, we typically recommend sizing up by half a size to one full size for a more comfortable fit.
-
Secret Measurement
If you want to measure without your partner knowing, borrow a ring they already wear on the correct finger (left-hand ring finger). Trace the inside of the ring on a piece of paper, and use your ring sizer to measure. If unsure, come see us in store for assistance.
-
Take Note
Finger sizes change as our lives change. Take note of the date a size was recorded. We can make adjustments to size when we know of specific events that may result in changes to finger sizes.

HOW TO USE
Thank you for ordering your free Unique Diamonds ring sizer. Follow these simple steps to find your perfect fit at home.
- Choose the right finger
Measure the finger your ring will be worn on — usually the left ring finger for engagement and wedding rings. - Measure at the right time
Measure at the end of the day when your hands are warm. Fingers can swell during the day, so this gives the most accurate result. - Slide the sizer on
Place the ring sizer over your knuckle and slide it down. It should pass over the knuckle with gentle pressure, then sit comfortably at the base of your finger without feeling tight. - Read your size
Note the Australian size shown on the sizer. If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit. - Consider the band width
Wider bands (3mm or more) may feel tighter. If you are planning a wider style, consider sizing up by half to one full size.
